Last fall, a large group of our family headed to Dewees Island and booked a spacious house through Charleston Coast Vacations by Dunes Properties. We had an absolute blast! Everyone's still raving about it. Your team was incredibly helpful. I know we were a handful at times. A few folks in our party couldn’t settle on which house to choose and kept switching their minds, but in the end, we found the ideal spot. The place was spotless, and the weather couldn’t have been better. We’ve got a whole album filled with wildlife shots, beach photos, blue crabs, big fish, dolphins, sharks... you name it! I wish I could recall everyone who helped us (I do remember Emily Watson) because we absolutely loved our stay. We’ll surely be back and will definitely choose your fantastic company again! This is our fifth year renting this awesome house in a fantastic spot - BUT there are just too many problems to have a great getaway!! It all started with the Dunes Property contact person assigned to the place, the alarm system kept going off, the elevator was out of order, the pool cover was broken, and it just kept piling up. There’s a lot of neglected maintenance happening with this property and the management is lacking, so I really can’t suggest this rental.

We reserved this place for a girls' weekend in October. Coming from Houston, we found the house to be fantastic. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. The views of both the beach and marsh were stunning. We hopped in ubers to Charleston a couple of times. We had an awesome time! If we return to South Carolina, this is where we’d want to stay again.

I’m really happy I chose to go straight to Dunes Properties instead of using VRBO. They answered all my questions before I booked, and when we had a toaster problem, they sorted it out in less than an hour. Plus, we saved a couple hundred bucks! The house was just right for our group of nine ladies, and I’d absolutely use their services again.

I've rented from them for my trips to Folly Beach a bunch of times... they've consistently been super easy to deal with. I'll definitely be using them again and again!!

My family spent the week of 10/6/18 in unit 322 at COB. Out of the eight patio chairs, four were unusable. The toilets in both master bedrooms were disgusting. The metal bed in the master bedroom wasn’t properly secured. Someone had tried to fix it with super glue! Luckily, my son-in-law had some tools and managed to fix it. If he hadn’t, it could’ve collapsed and caused serious harm. To top it off, the glass-top table on the patio wasn’t stable and nearly fell on my 11-year-old granddaughter. That thing is heavy and could’ve led to a serious injury or worse if we hadn’t caught it in time. We’ve been coming to COB for 15 years and have never encountered such awful conditions. We won’t be considering this unit again, nor will we suggest it to anyone else. Plus, as property managers, you should make sure the rental units are safe. This really put a damper on our family vacation.

An amazing retreat with views of the beach, pool, and the vast Atlantic from "A View to Remember". It was an ideal spot for a family get-together, with relatives coming in from all over the country to catch up and share memories across the ages. We feel super lucky with our selection; our villa was nicely furnished and kept in great shape, and the Dunes Properties team was quick to respond and attentive to all our special needs. Highly recommend!

We had an awesome time on our trip. The condo was stunning. It was nicely decorated and spotless, plus it was close to everything. We really enjoyed walking to the shops and eateries.

We had an awesome time on our family vacation at Folly Beach! The condo was spotless, just like they said, and it was in a prime location! You can't top being right on the beach, plus it's a short stroll to the pier, the adorable town, and some fantastic restaurants with live tunes! We're definitely looking forward to another trip, and we'll surely reach out to this vacation group for our stay! Such good times... unforgettable memories!

Our time at Coastal Blue was truly delightful. Dunes Properties kept in touch really well, making the whole rental process a breeze. The house itself was stunning, perfectly situated, and had plenty of space for families or groups. Each room was spacious, allowing everyone to have their own area. The bathrooms were also generous in size, featuring excellent showers. The kitchen was nicely equipped, boasting a large table and plenty of counter space for cooking and dining. We especially loved the screened-in porch and the upper deck, where we could see and hear the ocean waves. The beach access was just a quick walk across the street, so we were only minutes away from lounging on one of Folly's widest beaches. Plus, having an outdoor shower and lines for hanging up beach towels was a nice touch. We’d definitely choose to stay here again.

Everything went smoothly, and the condo was stunning. We really enjoyed working with Dunes Properties. They’re super friendly and really pay attention to your inquiries.

Booking was a breeze. Once we got back home, we realized we had forgotten a rain jacket at the place. A quick call and they sent it right back to us. Fantastic service!

While the decor of the house was quite charming, the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The shower curtains in the bathroom had mold, and the rods were rusty. One of the windows in the bathroom was broken too. A few walls appeared soft or had mold, and they had been painted over. Each morning, we found ourselves sweeping up dead roaches from under the beds and other spots on the floor. The air conditioning had a tough time keeping the temperature at 76 degrees, and on some of the hotter days, it couldn't even manage that late into the night. The bed linens and quilts looked pretty grimy, with stains and a moldy appearance. The entire place was dusty, and I even discovered a pill on the floor, left behind by a previous guest, also covered in dust. The curtains in both the bedrooms and bathrooms wouldn’t close properly without the whole rod coming off the wall. Plus, they didn’t block any light at all, so if you’ve got kids, be ready for them to wake up with the sunrise.

The service was top-notch from the moment I checked in. The condo had been beautifully updated and truly felt like a high-end escape by the shore. Basic amenities were available, but that info was clearly laid out when I booked. It’s conveniently located near shops and eateries.
